Endowment Gifts

The impact of investing in endowment funds can not be understated – contributions to The Polygon’s Endowment Fund are invested in perpetuity, with revenues allocated to the Gallery’s artistic program every year, forever. Established in 2015, the Fund now contains over $4 million, which contributes $200,000 annually to the Gallery’s operations.

Notably, the Government of Canada currently provides matching funds to The Polygon’s endowment fund, increasing the impact of each gift.

Because of the nature of the investment, The Polygon suggests a minimum donation of $25,000 to its Endowment Fund. Donations of more than $1,000,000 (including matching funds from the Government of Canada) will be honoured in the naming of a Gallery program, which will be chosen in consultation with donors to match the spirit of the gift.

To discuss options for your gift, contact Jessica Bouchard at 604.723.0404 or j.bouchard@thepolygon.ca.

Current Named Funds

The Polygon Gallery is grateful to have recently received generous gifts in memory of close members of our community. These donations are added to endowment funds established to celebrate the lifetime of individuals who loved art and sharing their passion with others. Each gift is invested in perpetuity, with the investment income used to support programming at The Polygon that honours the unique interests of the individual for whom the fund was named.

All donations are currently eligible for matching funds from the Government of Canada, which increases the impact of gifts and helps to ensure that many future generations will benefit from The Polygon’s diverse programming.

To learn more about each fund and opportunities to contribute, please find below a list of current named endowment funds:
