Brooklyn-based artist Sara Cwynar will introduce her work, followed by commentary by exhibition curator Jenn Jackson and National Gallery of Canada Associate Curator Jonathan Shaughnessy. Following these remarks, the artist and curators will engage in conversation about the timely themes and context of Gilded Age II, and what these images tell us about the unique cultural moment in which we find ourselves today.

She has exhibited internationally, and her artist book Kitsch Encyclopedia was published by Blonde Art Books in 2014. Cwynar is represented by Cooper Cole, Toronto and Foxy Production, New York.
