Join us in creating hearts for seniors!

You can brighten the day for people who are among the most impacted by COVID-19. For the next several weeks, The Polygon Gallery will be collecting hearts to send to senior residences in our community. After you’ve finished your creation, please email a photo of it to info@thepolygon.ca.

We will also be displaying a selection of your hearts in windows of The Polygon Gallery for everyone to enjoy.

About the In our Hearts campaign
The heart templates were supplied by Vancouver Foundation as part of its In our Hearts campaign and its investment in the Community Response Fund that was recently expanded to support arts and culture organizations.

Inspiration

Step 1: Choose a Template

Click here to download the selection of heart templates. Print the one you would like to decorate, or get really creative and draw your own.

Step 2: Decorate

Decorate your heart with felts, paint, crayons, collage materials, or anything else you have at home to personalize the design.

Step 3: Add a personal message

It will brighten the day of seniors in your community!

Step 4: Take a photo of your work

If you’d like to have your heart among those sent to senior’s residences, lay your heart on a well-lit flat surface and take a photo of it. Email the photo to info@thepolygon.ca. Keep your original artwork to display in a window or on your fridge.
