The Lind Prize

The Philip B. Lind Emerging Artist Prize was established in 2016 to support emerging artists working with photography, film, and video. It reflects The Polygon’s long history of nurturing new talent among the province’s visual artists. Over the years, arts professionals across the province have been invited to nominate artists of promise. A jury of esteemed professionals determines a shortlist of artists who are invited to mount their works in an exhibition, and the winner is awarded a cash prize, as well as a future opportunity to exhibit at The Polygon.

The Lind Prize was initially made possible through a generous donation from Rogers Communications to honour Phil Lind’s commitment to the company over 40 years.
