Volunteer Opportunity This Holiday Season

A waterfront landmark on Vancouver’s North Shore, The Polygon Gallery inspires and provokes cultural insight through adventurous programming. Its lens of inquiry creatively responds to shifting perceptions of the world, through the histories and evolving technologies of photography and related media.

The Polygon Gallery is looking for Volunteers for the upcoming Holiday Season. These amazing volunteers are responsible for providing The Polygon’s community of visitors and members with exemplary guest experiences.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Providing friendly, knowledgeable guest service experiences to all visitors, wayfinding, including information about current and upcoming exhibitions, educational offerings, and events.
Gift Wrapping: The Polygon Gallery will be providing gift wrapping services for the Holiday shop and Little Mountain Shop Holiday Pop-Up. There will be a station for Volunteers to assist in shifts such as: 12-4, 12-5 and or 4-8PM.

Volunteers should have: Experience in customer service, ideally in a gallery, museum, cultural, tourism or hospitality environment.

Fluency in a second language is highly desirable, especially in French or Farsi.

Must be at least 16 years or older.
