Undergrouse: Photos Of Life In North Van - A Chester Field Photo Contest

The inaugural photography contest for North Van students aged 13-18. Students were asked to submit a series of 3 photos in response to the theme: UnderGrouse: Photo of Life in North Van. The Chester Field blog was created to foster an interest in photography for youth on the North Shore. Though regular entries, open discussion and feedback, Chester Fields' blog is designed to inform young people of contemporary photogrpahy and increase their visual literacy, while encouraging them to delvelop their own means of creating photographic expressions.

The contest was juried by Marian Penner Bancroft, Helga Pakasaar, Reid Shier and Mark Soo. The jury selected works by Nikki Bagheri, Cole Bazin, Camille Wyman, Brandon Cove, Kelly Cubbon, Heather Dawson, Hilary Duholke. Jordan Epstein, Lyndsey Herden, Andrew Kim, Katherine Laronde, Nathan Laronde, Jason Macfarlane, Riley Mcfarlane, Alyssa Salt, Amelia Stubbs, Ryan Walker.
