About Francisco Berlanga

Francisco Berlanga is a Vancouver-based textile artist whose practice explores his relationship to Mexican identity as a second-generation immigrant through the lens of craft. Berlanga has presented a solo exhibition at Grunt Gallery and participated in group shows at the Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery, the AHVA Gallery, This Gallery, and the Audain Gallery. He holds a BFA from Simon Fraser University and an MFA from the University of British Columbia.
