Family Day

The Polygon Gallery is open from 10:00am until 5:00pm on Family Day, Monday February 17.

From 11:00am until 3:00pm join us for  hands-on creative activities. These are geared towards ages 6-12, however all are welcome to join and participate. Kids 12 and under are required to bring a parent or caretaker to attend the program.

About the Family Day Activity
Commenting on the local forestry industry, and the proximity to the shoreline, Samuel Roy-Bois has created a site-responsive installation in The Polygon architectural space that welcomes you when you enter the building. In a similar fashion, we will be making hand-held sculptures for Family Day, using different types of craft wood, cedar shims and wood veneers, as a way of exploring art-making in the third dimension.
