The Polygon Gallery is proud to be hosting the regular program – Kids First Saturdays. Join us on the first Saturday of every month for hands-on creative activities. Visit the Gallery, explore the artworks, and participate in activities that lead to deeper engagement with art and creativity.

As a regular Kids First visitor, you will always be greeted with new and exciting methods of creative play, encouraging experimentation with various media and materials.

Saturday, April 6, 11am – 3pm
Taking inspiration from the series of photographs by Alana Paterson, we’ll be creating life-sized portraits this month.

The first step of the process will involve posing with your favourite sports equipment in a photobooth setting. This image will then be printed out and enlarged using a projector, so that we can create a large drawing on paper with coloured pencils and felt tip pens. Feel free to wear your own team jersey or bring one piece of your sports gear for the occasion!

Mark your 2019 calendar for the first Saturday of each month!
